Network connectivity watchdog service?

Wondering if it would be possible to get some kind of watchdog service for the Immy agent to ensure that network connectivity is good?

I got a fair bit of computers that appear offline even though the agent is running. I can restart the service manually by hand and it will usually appear online again within seconds.

I know it is likely “something” in my environment, but unfortunately I don’t have any control over it. It could take weeks or more before my issue gets actioned.

That being said, I think it’s within reason to have a watchdog service that can test the inbound and outbound connectivity of the agent and reset it a number of times before logging an event. If the agent tried to restart even 1-2 times in my environment, it would likely come online.

There has been a ton of work done in this regard. If you’re having issues, that should come in as a support ticket vs a feature request.
