Unable to adjust Immy managed tasks without this support.
It’s worth noting that many automation developers primarily focus on x86 environments. As a result, ARM-specific behaviors—such as how silent installations operate—are often not given the same level of attention. I hope Immy considers adding ARM installers at some point, or even a dedicated resource.
I see you mentioned your unable to do something. I run Immy on ARM-based systems—specifically, on Dell Latitude laptops powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon processors; Surface Pro’s also come to mind. For applications like RingCentral, which require an ARM-specific installer, I personally upload the ARM version and use a filtering script to ensure that only ARM devices receive it. I also review the original deployment of RingCentral and target x86/x64 using a similar filter script.
I can install the agent but it does not show up in the ImmyBot portal as a new computer. Also I am now unable to uninstall the non functioning agent. Any ideas for getting this working would be much appreciated. FYI this is a Dell laptop with an ARM based processor.
I do not have this issue . I set up these laptops new using the PPKG during OOBE. If I ever install Immy post-OOBE, I can update you with my experience.
My best advice is to submit a ticket. Their support has always been strong and seems to be getting even better (check the more recent update notes).
