I would like to have the option to use the target systems timezone to determine when maintenance detection runs.
We have run into issues with having detection and execution split. if a machine is online for the detection, but offline for execution, it will run maintenance whenever it comes online. We supress reboots during business hours and have had some apps break due to needing a reboot when upgrading… Forticlient I’m looking at you.
Immy support suggested executing immedately after detection, but that removes the ability to use the computers timezone.
The ability to configure a schedule to run based on the local agents time zone instead of a single time zone would be very helpful for us. We manage multiple clients with a workforce distributed across the US and overseas, and basing the maintenance schedule on a single time zone causes maintenance to run during business hours for some sites.
We have several clients who have computers in different timezones, and frequently travel across timezones. It would be beneficial for us if scheduled maintenance could run at the same time of day for these users, regardless of which timezone they are in!
