Immy Configuration Sync with PSA (without RMM)

So, this already exists for syncing the computers/users to Connectwise Manage. But it currently requires Connectwise Automate. As we’re moving away from CWA, it would be great to see this modified to work without the needed of any RMM - ie, just Immy <-> PSA…

Ideally, from Immy, we could grab the Primary User and then set the CWM Configuration to be assigned to that user’s CWM Contact record.

We’d also possibly be able to have the CWM Contact’s “Site” (ie, which location they’re associated with) synced with (in our case) an Immy Tag on the Immy Computer. This would allow us to further automate things in other systems that are driven by locations (which Immy currently is missing).

We are absolutely in the same boat here.
I did find the immy.bot task which updates things but I don’t think creates the configuration item. We need this synced to Manage because it flows from manage into a lot of other places.

We made a rewst workflow that did it.

I’d love to learn more. How did you do it? It seems like it would be easy to query the primary user in Immy and do a soft-match on the CW contacts and update from there. We’re already updating contacts in CW from the clients’ Entra.
