The global “Printer Installer Client (PrinterLogic)” software update method is set currently to “Uninstall/Install”.
While this is suggested under “Manual updates” on the Vasion documentation ( Client Updates), under “Software Deployment” they say to use different flags instead:
PrinterInstallerClient.msi REINSTALLMODE=vomus REBOOT=ReallySupress REINSTALL=ALL /qn /norestart
This lets the installer handle the reinstall itself, rather than ImmyBot, which we have seen to fail the original uninstall for whatever reason, which means it also fails the reinstall.
